Thrown on a potters wheel and then altered to create a variety of organic, undulating forms. No two will be alike, but I aim to ensure that they all have pleasing, natural qualities. The surface is built up with various clays and sand layered together, creating a deep and textured finish without the use of glaze. Color ranges from off-white to tan, see photos. Scratched/carved lines are added as an accent. Designed to be used, the clay is watertight, and the rim shaped to attractively hold floral arrangements. measures approximately 6” tall.
